Study flute with a musician trained at the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory. Toby brings classical rigour paired with an adventurous musical imagination — he's performed Mozart's Flute and Harp Concerto with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra, plays flute with Whitehorse funk band Major Funk, and has recorded on albums across genres. This class is open to intermediate and advancing flutists who want to refine their tone, technique, breath control, articulation, and musicality in a supportive studio setting. Each day will blend technical work with repertoire, drawing on the classical tradition and occasional forays into more contemporary and crossover territory.
