For students who already have some drumming experience and want to sharpen their feel, their vocabulary, and their confidence playing with others. Lonnie will dig into more complex grooves, fills, and genre-based styles  (jazz, blues, rock, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian), drawing on his own touring and recording experience across all of these traditions. Each day will focus on a different stylistic lens, with plenty of hands-on playing time and individual coaching. Students who take this class alongside Band Lab will get to immediately apply what they're learning in a full-band setting.

Ages 14+. Some prior drum kit experience required. Sticks, pads, and kits provided.
